T. Bert Lance once said “If it ain’t broke, don't fix it” but, unfortunately, medicine in the United States is broken and it is patients across the nation who are suffering because of it.
A group of innovative and talented professionals with varied backgrounds have come together to solve some aspects of this problem. We at Bills of Health have come together with untainted views and a fresh perspective to help answer a simple question; what can we do to solve some of the health care issues troubling our country? Bills of Health looks at medicine today and wants to take a different approach in solving it. We want to look at medicine and its current state not as a legal or political problem but to solve it as one would a medical issue. Looking at it from the inside out and curing it instead of putting “band-aids” on it as a temporary fix. We aim to not only use current and emerging technology to help our cause but to also look at the past when medicine was practiced to not only treat a patient but also to care for one.
